   Eric E. Ostling is a partner and the Managing Attorney of the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly's Sacramento office. Mr. Ostling earned his Undergraduate Degree from the University of California, Davis, before attending the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. At McGeorge, he earned his Juris Doctorate Degree, and also a Master of Law and Taxation (LLM).
   Prior to joining Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP in 2007, Mr. Ostling spent many years litigating civil matters before various Northern and Southern California Superior Courts, as well as in all California Federal Districts. In his civil practice, he represented plaintiffs and defendants in all stages of breach of contract, construction defect, business dissolution, easement, specific performance, mechanic's lien, stop notice, construction delay damage, and personal injury litigation. He also defended Miller Act claims in Federal Court. With respect to transactional experience, Mr. Ostling negotiated and drafted commercial leases, real property purchase agreements, business purchase agreements, bulk purchase agreements, real property and personal property security agreements, IRC section 1031 exchange agreements, easements, and option agreements. He also prepared estate plans, partnership agreements, LLP agreements, LLC agreements, limited partnership agreements, incorporations of C Corporations, S Corporations, and Non-Profit Corporations, as well as partnership/corporate buy-sell agreements.

   Blake S. Posner is an associate attorney in the firm’s Westlake Village office, where he practices all aspects of workers’ compensation defense. Mr. Posner obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge in 1991 before going on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of La Verne, School of Law in 1994. After graduating from law school, he received an LL.M. in Taxation from Golden Gate University, School of Law, where he graduated with honors. As a part of the LL.M. program, Mr. Posner gained significant training and experience in complex legal issues pertaining to finance, accounting and tax.
   Mr. Posner is an experienced attorney who has been practicing since 1994. Prior to joining Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, he specialized in civil litigation/workers’ compensation subrogation and workers’ compensation defense, representing a wide variety of clients ranging from insurance carriers, self-insured employers, counties, cities, and other municipalities. Additionally, Mr. Posner has extensive experience in all types of subrogation, insurance defense, reinsurance, insurance bad faith coverage, and business litigation. Subrogation matters have included workers’ compensation, auto, and large loss property subrogation matters, resulting from manufacturing defects, design defects and other product liability matters. He handled all aspects of business litigation and personal injury litigation from inception through trial. Mr. Posner has extensive experience with law and motion, depositions, pre-trial and trial work. He has experience as a managing attorney who supervised a staff of attorneys, paralegals and secretaries.
   Mr. Posner is admitted to the California bar (1994); the U.S. District Court, Central District of California (2001); and the U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of California (2002). He has been a member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals, the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Association, the California Trial Lawyers Association and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association.
