AMANDA A. MANUKIAN

BIOGRAPHY
Amanda A. Manukian has been with the Law Office of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP since 2003. She is currently the Managing Attorney of the Pasadena Office and the Managing Attorney of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU).
She also served as the Fraud Liaison with State Compensation in 2002 and part of 2003. Prior to her time with State Compensation Insurance Fund (SCIF), she worked with the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office from 1998 to 2002. She started as a law clerk in the Appeals and Writs Division, SIU working on numerous Appellate Briefs before California Appellate Courts. Subsequent to that, she was a certified senior law clerk conducting preliminary Hearings and co-chairing misdemeanor trials at Central Trial in Downtown Los Angeles.
Over the last two years of her tenure with the District Attorney's Office, she co-chaired in death penalty evidentiary Hearings and assisted with appellate work defending various fraud convictions. |

JOI ANDERSON

BIOGRAPHY
Joi Anderson is an associate in the firm's workers' compensation defense and employment law practice group. She is a graduate of University of California, Los Angeles and received her Juris Doctorate from University of West Los Angeles.
Ms. Anderson has been a member of the California Bar Association since 1994. She is a member of the California Workers' Compensation Defense Attorneys Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association as well as Black Women Lawyers, where she has served as both board and committee member.
Ms. Anderson brings to the firm extensive experience in defending self insured employees, insurance carriers and third party adjusting agencies before Workers' Compensation Appeals Boards throughout California. She handles cases from initial file review and analysis through litigation or settlement.
Ms. Anderson is licensed to practice in all California State courts, as well as the United States District Courts for all districts in California.

Tyrone Bell, J.D. is a Hearing Representative with the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP in our firm's Pasadena office location. Mr. Bell obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree from Glendale College of Law before joining the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly legal team.
Prior to joining the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, Mr. Bell obtained nearly 30 years of experience working in the California workers' compensation system as a claims examiner, AOE/COE investigator and a Hearing Representative. With this experience, Mr. Bell brings a uniquely strong ability to view his files through the eyes of our clients and ensure that every facet of the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly's clients needs are met.

HAGOP BARONIAN

Hagop Baronian is an associate attorney with the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP in our firm's Pasadena office location. Mr. Baronian earned his Undergraduate Degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles before going on to earn his Juris Doctorate Degree from Pepperdine University School of Law.
Prior to joining the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, Mr. Baronian gained experience in a number of areas of law namely in the field of medical malpractice and personal injury before beginning his employment with State Compensation Insurance Fund (SCIF) in 2005. During his three years of experience with workers' compensation matters with SCIF, Mr. Baronian attained a solid litigation background in all standard litigation of matters before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB). |

Dan Dabbah is based out of our Pasadena office. With nearly 20 years of knowledge in reviewing, adjusting, and negotiating liens, his wealth of experience includes preparation and attendance at hearings before the WCAB that range from status conferences on the case-in-chief to lien trials. Dan's tenure in the industry, with a specialization in liens, makes him uniquely qualified to represent the interests of our clients in facilitating lien resolutions. His strong communication skills and timely responses with third-party administrators, insurance companies and self insured entities ensures the most prompt and reasonable dispositions of liens, either by settlement or adjudication. |

CAREY A. GUYNES

Carey A. Guynes is an associate attorney with the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP in our firm's Pasadena office location. Ms. Guynes earned her Undergraduate Degree from the University of La Verne before going on to earn her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of La Verne College of Law.
Prior to joining the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly in 2002, Ms. Guynes worked in the field of workers' compensation defense for several years earning experience in all aspects of representation of employers and insurance entities in workers' compensation matters.
Currently, Ms. Guynes represents employers, insurance companies, self-insured entities as well as uninsured employers in all standard litigation of matters before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB). Ms. Guynes also represents employers and self-insured entities in matters involving §132(a) discrimination claims and serious and willful misconduct allegations. |

ERIC M. KWEON

BIOGRAPHY
Eric M. Kweon, associate attorney with the firm's San Gabriel Valley office, brings with him exemplary credentials from Cornell University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations. He then graduated from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles with his Juris Doctorate Degree in 2009. He became a member of the California State Bar in June 2010 and is eligible to practice before any court in the State.
Mr. Kweon has externed with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office as a volunteer law clerk of the Hardcore Gang Division and Public Integrity Division. He was also a volunteer law clerk for the Justice Systems Integrity Division and a certified law clerk for the Preliminary Hearings Division. During his time, Mr. Kweon conducted preliminary hearings and worked on project specific matters and cases. He has practiced workers' compensation law and made appearances at various Workers' Compensation Appeals Board District Offices before joining the firm. Mr. Kweon is also fluent in Korean. |

Michael G. McConville is an associate attorney with the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP in our firm's Pasadena office location.
Mr. McConville graduated from Southwestern University of Law and passed the State Bar in 1983. Since that time, he has divided his practice between workers' compensation defense and civil litigation. During his 15 years of workers' compensation experience, he also handled crossover issues involving subrogation. His broad experience in both fields brings a practical approach to the issue of subrogation. |

PHUONG N. NGUYEN

BIOGRAPHY
A bilingual associate in both English and Vietnamese, Phuong N. Nguyen brings with her several years of workers' compensation experience prior to passing the Bar. She is an associate attorney in our firm's Pasadena location who earned her Undergraduate Degree in economics and political science from the University of California, Los Angeles before going on to earn her Juris Doctorate Degree from Pace University School of Law.
Before beginning law school, Ms. Nguyen was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, the international pre-law fraternity, a Small Claims Court Advisory Program Counselor where she logged an astounding 300 hours of an AmeriCorps/JusticeCorps National Service Program, and a paralegal assistant with John Miller, Inc. where she gained valuable exposure to the workers' compensation industry.
While attending law school, Ms. Nguyen had the honor of working directly with retired Judge David W. O'Brien. As part of FSK Publishing for two years, she was the primary editor of the well renowned publication, California Workers' Compensation Claims and Benefits. |
