Biography
Todd T. Kelly is a partner with the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP. He represents employers, insurance carriers and third party administrators in all aspects of workers’ compensation claims.
He is a State Bar Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation who has authored articles and spoken on behalf of both the Council on Education in Management and the Employer’s Advisory Council. Mr. Kelly has acted as a Judge Pro Tem with the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) and serves as a guest speaker for various employers, insurance companies and administrators. He is licensed to practice before all State and Federal Courts in California and is a member of all applicable Bar Associations.
Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who, Mr. Kelly is a Gold Congressional Awardee, is affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America, and is a Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary International. |

Biography
Erica S. Willis joined the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP in our firm’s Camarillo office location in August of 2006. Prior to joining the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, she was Supervisor of Educational Development and Business Practices at Workers’ Compensation Central where she became familiar with the law and participants in the workers’ compensation industry.
Ms. Willis’ other experience includes an externship in entertainment law, volunteer work in the area of special education law, as well as work in a civil plaintiff’s law firm. She is a December 2004 graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law and is admitted to practice law in California as well as the United States District Court, Central District of California. |

Biography
George Sickman is an associate attorney with the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP in our firm’s Ventura County office location. Mr. Sickman obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio State University before moving forward to obtain his Masters Degree from the University of Southern California and, ultimately, his Juris Doctorate Degree from Western State University.
Since joining the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly in 2007, Mr. Sickman has brought his nearly 25 years of legal experience and certified specialist designation to bear on the defense of workers’ compensation matters.
Mr. Sickman currently defends all aspects of workers’ compensation claims including standard defense litigation, 132a claims and serious and willful misconduct allegations. Mr. Sickman works on behalf of the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly for insurance entities, third party administrators, self-insured entities as well as uninsured employers to ensure the most aggressive and cost effective defense of workers’ compensation matters. In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Sickman also continues ongoing studies in the Spanish and Mandarin Chinese languages. |

Biography
Laura J. Bintliff is the Managing Attorney of the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP in our firm’s Camarillo office location.
Ms. Bintliff is a Certified Specialist in workers’ compensation law with 15 years’ experience in this area of the law. In addition, Ms. Bintliff has prior experience in workers’ compensation subrogation and civil litigation involving employment and disability-related discrimination issues. Ms. Bintliff was a legal assistant and legal administrator for several years in workers’ compensation law offices bringing a broad range of experience to the defense and handling of workers’ compensation matters. |

MITCH MAYS

Biography
Mitch Mays, a seasoned Trial attorney, is associated with the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly’s Ventura County office location.
After serving three years in the Army’s 82nd Airborne, Mr. Mays graduated from Pepperdine’s School of Law, passing the State Bar the same year in 1981. He began his career as an attorney with a small Ventura firm representing applicants in the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) and gaining invaluable Trial experience in the Criminal Courts as a member of Conflict Defense Associates in Ventura County.
Mr. Mays made the jump to the workers compensation defense side full time in 1988 and has never looked back. He has worked both for private defense firms and as in-house counsel for CIGNA Insurance. He has represented third party administrators, various insurance companies, self-insured employers, uninsured employers, public agencies and school districts.
Mr. Mays has volunteered, served and is currently serving as a director on various non-profit boards and as legal advisor to several other organizations. |

PETER D. KUSNITZOW

Biography
Mr. Kusnitzow graduated Cum Laude from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1971. He earned his Juris Doctorate at Southwestern University School of Law in 1974 and was a member of the Southwestern Law Review.
He began his career in 1975 with Mansell & Giddens who served as House Counsel for Industrial Indemnity Insurance Company. In 1976 Mr. Kusnitzow joined and ultimately became a partner in the defense workers’ compensation practice of Allen, Rhodes & Sobelsohn. In 1994 he opened his own firm in Ventura. The Law Offices of Peter D. Kusnitzow opened a second office in Grover Beach in 2000.
Mr. Kusnitzow has 32 years of experience exclusively representing employers, self insureds and insurance companies in all aspects of Workers’ Compensation defense including Section 132a and serious and willful claims and is dedicated to providing the highest quality of representation to his clients. Mr. Kusnitzow has been a guest speaker at numerous seminars and is frequently invited to lecture to insurance companies and employers regarding workers’ compensation and employer practices. |
