David L. Jimenez is a managing attorney with the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP in our firm’s Santa Monica office location.  Mr. Jimenez earned his Undergraduate Degree from California State University, Northridge, before attending law school and earning his Juris Doctorate Degree from Loyola Law School.
   Prior to joining the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly in 2002, Mr. Jimenez obtained several years of litigation experience in the field of workers’ compensation.
   Mr. Jimenez represents third party administrators, insurance companies, self-insured entities and employers as well as uninsured employers in all standard workers’ compensation issues including 132a discrimination claims and serious and willful misconduct allegations.
   Mr. Jimenez is also a member of several professional associations including the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Bar Association.

   Angela J. Shutty is an associate attorney with the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP in our firm’s Santa Monica office location.
   Originally from the state of Pennsylvania, Ms. Shutty began her corporate career at the Corporate Headquarters of the Rite Aid Corporation located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania subsequent to obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and also obtaining a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
   Working in all phases of corporate taxation at that position, she developed an interest in the legal field and relocated to California to pursue a Law Degree at the University of San Diego where she obtained her Juris Doctorate Degree.  Combining her interests in tax and accounting drew her to Price Waterhouse in Los Angeles to become a tax attorney.
   For more than 15 years, she has worked solely in the field of workers’ compensation defense as an attorney representing insurance carriers and employers.

   Daniel R. Brown is an associate attorney with the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP in our firm’s Santa Monica office location.  Mr. Brown earned his Undergraduate Degree from the University of Arizona before earning his Juris Doctorate Degree with Golden Gate University.
    Mr. Brown joined the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly in 2007 brining numerous years of workers’ compensation defense litigation experience to the firm.
   Mr. Brown currently represents third party administrators, insurance entities, self-insured entities, employers and uninsured employers in all matters before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) including standard defense litigation, 132a discrimination claims and serious and willful misconduct allegations.

   Leticia Perez is a Hearing Representative with the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP in our firm’s Santa Monica office location.  Ms. Perez obtained a Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, before moving forward to earn her certification as a legal assistant and safety professional.  Ms. Perez brings over 20 years of experience in the workers’ compensation arenas to the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly.
   Currently, Ms. Perez works closely with the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly’s attorneys and clients to represent insurance entities, third party administrators, self-insured entities and uninsured employers in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense litigation.

   Michael M. Sela is an associate attorney with Floyd Skeren & Kelly's Santa Monica Office Location. After years of medical practice, Clinical Assistant Professorship at University of California, Los Angeles and teaching at facilities such as Stanford University Medical Center, Mr. Sela now devotes his time exclusively to the practice of law. Mr. Sela joined Floyd, Skeren & Kelly's Santa Monica Office in 2007. Mr. Sela represents employers, third party administrators, insurance companies and self-insured entities in all aspects of workers' compensation, including 132a discrimination claims, serious and willful misconduct allegations and standard issues arising out of the underlying case in chief.
   With his years of medical experience, practice, and teaching and as a Fellow of the American Colleges of Surgeons and Gynecologists / Obstetricians, Mr. Sela brings unique first hand medical knowledge to his practice of law. Mr. Sela uses his knowledge and experience in consulting with many of the firm's attorneys on cases involving complex medical issues and depositions of physicians.
